John P Kenny

California Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser

John P Kenny

(aka) J.

I have been appraising in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties for well over 30 years. I’ve been immersed in Real Estate with a primary focus on Appraisals, but have also spent time in property management, rental property management, sales, and development.

Special areas of competence include high-end estates, ocean-front property, ranches, two-four unit Income property, and vacant land. This work requires an open mind, a willingness to ask questions, to chase down and interpret data, and the ability to communicate one’s opinion.

Our office strives to provide professional service; our fees are competetive and our timing second to none. We utilize the best data services within each market area and are in constant communication with the most active agents in the field.

Our clientele includes some of the largest lending institutions, private banks, mortage companies and wealth managers in the nation. We also work with with dozens of appraisal management companies, attorneys and estate planners.

We understand the level of responsibility that our clients have entrusted us with and remain completely independent in our process. We stay up to date with any changes in Compliance, and continually monitor federal and state laws and regulations, as well as USPAP, FANNIE MAE and FREDDIE MAC guidelines regarding appraiser independence. Our administrative process and communication systems are designed to ensure the appraisals are done in compliance with all appraiser independence rules and regulations.
